Synopsis: "'At Dawn, January 1, 2054 A.D., the Earth's scientific experts exploded their latest Super-Hydrogen bomb. In less than a minute, Planet Earth was blown to radioactive dust, and all life on it ceased. The 100-strong crew of the Brand expedition, exploring Mars, are spared and set off on an interstellar odyssey, calling at a myriad of new planets, including Nievia (planet of snow), Hestia (planet of fire) and Elysia ('the poisoned paradise'). Finally, on planet Solaris, they encounter the ubiquitous Martians! Mercifully, this title marked the end of this awful series which has gone to deserved oblivion."
