Synopsis: Planet Stories was published between 1939 and 1955. This magazine was devoted almost exclusively to science fiction adventures and flamboyant space opera.
It is in its pages that Leigh Brackett published the best of his Mars located stories. It also in PLANET that many "Martian chronicles" by Ray Bradbury appeared.
Besides these two writers, this anthology presents stories from the best writers of that time: Henry Kuttner, AE Van Vogt, Poul Anderson, etc.. And one of the first pieces of a beginner now famous: Philip K. Dick.
