Note: Second published book set in the Moomins universe. Sometimes listed as the first book in the series because it introduces most major characters. A somewhat revised version was published in 1956 under the title "Mumintrollet på kometjakt". The author revised the book with numerous changes (including the illustrations) for the final version, which was published in 1968 as "Kometen kommer". This version was the basis for most of the translations aftrwards.
