- "Collection of stories of all countries and times dealing with -- as the title indicates -- ghosts and goblins, witches, animal spirits, magic. A Somewhat more mature group of stories than the usual fairy tale collection, and with a special sort of focus for the time when spooks are in order. Miss Harper is an excellent anthologist, and this measures up to standard."
