Synopsis: When an angel interferes in human affairs and violates a human's free will, he Falls and takes on human form as one of the Nephilim. Lucien Hartfell fell for rescuing Aimée Blanchard from the Terror during the French Revolution. Eight years later, he attends a Regency house party in search of a rich wife -- but finds himself falling all over again for Aimée, now a poor relation.
