Synopsis: Narrator, an ex-sportsman neurologist becomes a last-minute replacement doctor of a team going to a gymnastics championship. After the primadonna aging Olympionist refuses to participate, he replaces him at the urging of the masseur who found that the man performed better when watched by him, and wins. Pressed for further training and research when he barely has the time to follow the publish-or-perish frenzy of his specialization, he cries "psychic doping" to the press.
