Note: Originally published in Memories and Adventures by Arthur Conan Doyle (London, Hodder & Stoughton, 1924). Written by Barrie following the failure of a opera jointly written by Barrie & Doyle, Barrie inscribed it on the flyleaves of a copy of his book, A Window in Thrums and gave it Doyle. Doyle included it in his own autobiography.
Synopsis: Barrie and Doyle consult Holmes regarding why people did not attend their opera. Borderline genre based on the breaking of the fourth wall & the ending.
