Note: The front cover of the DAW hardcover edition states “A magical new epic set in the universe of Seven Brothers” implying that the book should be included in the Seven Brothers series. The publisher's “Also by Curt Benjamin” page lists “The (sic) Lords of Grass and Thunder” followed by a section for the Seven Brothers Trilogy implying this is a standalone novel. At least one character from Seven Brothers is carried forward into this novel. Within ISFDB this is dealt with by putting “Lords of Grass and Thunder” in the “Seven Brothers Universe” series and making Seven Brothers a sub-series.
