Note: According to the author's note on Amazon.com, the original version of this novel was written and prepared for publication in 1993. Six weeks prior to publication it was canceled by the publisher, Zebra, in the wake of a downturn in the horror market. The text was revised by the author in the summer of 2012 and self-published as an e-book in August 2012.
