Synopsis: The sleeping Goddess created Arris to be her consort. A beautiful lover, tattooed with wings. Arris would release her from a thousand year slumber - at the moment of his sacrifice. But Arris will not give his life to the Goddess, just as he will not give his honor to the emperor who employs him as a spy. He will choose his own path, though destruction reigns in his wake and the cities are crawling with assassins. By now, Arris has his choice of deaths - the Goddess will sacrifice him to regain power; the daimon will consume his soul to regain strength; or the sun gods will simply kill him for no obvious reason.
