Synopsis: After providing a short biography of Hal Foster, Caz recounts the circumstances under which Foster began drawing the Sunday Tarzan page and then eventually moving on to do the Prince Valiant Sunday pages. Other publications reprinting the Sunday pages are discussed, as is the 1953 Prince Valiant movie starring Robert Wagner. A quotation from Foster himself explains why he needed to take 'poetic license' for some of the characters and facts presented in the strip, as well as his method for aging the characters.
