Synopsis: A young man, born with fur and fangs, tries to find his place in the world after being rejected by his mother and his peers at a Catholic orphanage. He finds a friend in a scholar who believes him possessed of animal powers, and finally finds solace in a freak circus act called the Eight Wonders of the World.
