Synopsis: A clever but hotheaded politician marries a very wise woman whose restraining influence makes him a success. But then she dies. He quarrels with his colleagues--and is amazed to receive a letter that his wife left behind, to be delivered in the event of such circumstances. He apologizes and is a better man. Twice more his dead wife's foresight aids him in problems she knew he might get into.
