Note: Basing himself on his hypothesis of a space-time continuum consisting of closely intermingled particles of time and space, physicist Conrad de Saint-Loup claims to have invented an apparatus named lycotron, which is able to freeze time in a certain area. Scoffed at by most world powers, he has offered his help to Abou Abou, self-proclaimed emperor of South Sudan, who hopes to regain control of the whole Sudan territory before conquering the rest of Africa — and then the world !
