Note: According to Julius Schwartz's article "The Science Fiction Eye", first published in "Fantasy Magazine" September 1935 and reprinted in "Le Zombie", v. 2, issue 7, whole 19, December 16, 1939: "Laurence Manning has written a 60,000 word novel-sequel to "World of the Mist", which he titles "Maze of Creation"." According to "The Gernsback Days: A Study of the Evolution of Modern Science Fiction...", this novel was supposed to be published in "Wonder Stories" as a three-part serial. However, "Wonder Stories" was sold to Standard Magazines in early 1936. The editor, Charles D. Horning, was replaced with Mort Weisinger and the magazine was relaunched as "Thrilling Wonder Stories" in June 1936. Many previously announced stories, including "Maze of Creation", were dropped. The book remains unpublished as of 2017 and it's not clear whether the text survives.
