1919The Czech story "Flétna" was published in English under the title "Brother Coelestin" in the anthology Short Stories from the Balkans. This was published September 24, 1919 (per copyright notice) by Marshall Jones Company, Boston. The author was listed as Yaroslav Vrchlický. Translated by Edna Worthley Underwood. This translation was used in the 1967 anthology Rod Serling's Devils and Demons. In Serling's book, the author is listed as "Emil Frida" in the table of contents and as "Yaroslav Vrchilcky [sic] (pseudonym of Emil Frida)" on page 197 where the story is.
