Synopsis: In Frampo, a village in the imaginary community of Shtetl, the rigorous environmental conditions have sculpted a caring and sensitive society; each settler has his or her own role, and everyone must work for the harmony of the community. The equilibrium that is the mode of existence sought and maintained by the creatures at the center of this novel threatens to collapse when one of its elements enters into crisis and causes a rupture. Now there is the possibility of going "another way": the temptation to try something different germinates, in spite of the fear and uncertainty that arise from a choice at the crossroads.  &bnsp;  We see a different humanity, living in a precarious world, where scarcity is the determining factor of behaviour and systems.
