Synopsis: Utsukushii Kuro follows Jessika Kendall, an American study abroad student in Japan, as she inadvertently falls in love with one of Japan's oldest vampires and learns the ins-and-outs of magickal society. She meets many new, kind people, faces discrimination of multiple kinds, tragedy unforeseen, and joy unparalleled. It is a quick read, but an emotional one.
