Synopsis: Vox is part novel, part writing experiment. The story takes place in a world where humans are unable to speak audible and must sign their languages, meaning that the novel is written entirely in narrative, without standard "dialogue." It centers around Omina, an enigmatic woman whose recent losses have inspired her to make one final run and her greatest goal: open revolution against the Holy Church. She steals ships, assembles crews and attempts to recruit allies, from similarly desperate criminals, to rival nations. However, intelligence from a Holy Church defector sends them all on a journey of exploration to find a mythical power that, if it exists, could rip out the foundations of the Holy Church: the power of Vox.
