Note: In 1981, the municipality of Nantes bought a "trunk" of manuscripts from the Verne family for an estimated 6 million francs. In an attempt to strengthen their copyright on the material, the Ville de Nantes published these manuscripts in 1991 in 3 volumes. Much of the material had never been published before. The contents was unedited and not 100% accurate because of the haste in which the volumes were published. The first volume (Tome 1) consists of full or partial plays.
