Synopsis: DiMona wrote three political thrillers in the 1970s featuring George Williams, a Deputy Assistant Attorney General based in Washington. All of them have elements of Ludlum-like conspiracy fiction, but only the second one, "The Benedict Arnold Connection" has a strong speculative-fiction aspect. In this one, a revenge-seeking madman steals 3 small nuclear bombs and succeeds in detonating one of them just off the New Jersey shore, causing a tidal wave that kills a large but unspecified number of people in New Jersey and on Long Island.
