Synopsis: In the far future, Earth's space forces are engaged in a deadly struggle with the alien Azuli. Three soldiers with paranormal powers (telepathy, telekinesis and teleportation, respectively) are sent back to Earth, mentally exhausted. Their spaceship is destroyed and they are stranded on the planet Bor, which is in the early stages of the industrial revolution. Fearful that their abilities will get them in trouble with the locals, the trio joins a traveling carnival and become a major success. When the Azuli arrive and threaten Bor, they must decide what, if anything, they can do to help the planet.
