The Grosset & Dunlap edition claims that the copyright is held by Doubleday, Page & Co., and specifies that their edition was published in Sept. 1907. We conclude that the Doubleday edition is the true first edition, and the Grosset & Dunlap edition was published later in 1907 than the Doubleday edition.
