Note: The "Gerald Knave" series is hard to find; there are two books I am aware of (I cannot remember the title of the other one, but it involves the theft of the "Crown Jewels" of a serpentine-like race); there were also several stories published in Analog over the years.
Synopsis: Gerald Knave, Survivor, decides to vacation on Cub IV, the Planet With No Problems. Little does he, or the colonists, know that the World With No Problems is one of the most dangerous planets in the galaxy.
