Note: First appeared in Action Stories, October 1936. Howard originally titled this story "Politics at Blue Lizard", although Glenn Lord pointed out in The Last Celt that he probably meant to title it "Politics at Lonesome Lizard", since Lonesome Lizard is the name of the town in the story.
