1934ⓘOriginal Howard title for this story. The story was originally published in Strange Detective Stories, February 1934 under the title "The Tomb's Secret" by Patrick Ervin, a Howard pseudonym. That title doesn't fit the story very well, but the title used on the other Howard story in the same issue, "Fangs of Gold" does fit. The Otis Adelbert Kline agency, Howard's agent, listed all the stories sold. On that list, "The Tomb's Secret" was written in above "The Teeth of Doom".
