archiving

I ageree that the CP needed to be archived, but I think that threads that had discussion within, say, the last week might reasoanbly have been allowed to reamain un archived. -DES Talk 00:56, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

I used to look at and think about every thread when archiving but that time figured I'd just whack out everything that was not actively under discussion. One week seems reasonable though. I thought there was a auto-archive thing that can do this? I'd like to unleash it on CP plus all of the main discussion areas listed at the top of CP. Note, I no longer have time to patrol the recent-changes meaning I only notice and end up replying to things like this by chance. Marc Kupper (talk) 08:07, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
There are auto-archive bots active on wikipedia. i don't hsve the scripts to any. They might or might not be adaptable here, but I really don't think we need them. -DES Talk 21:06, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Online/Offline status

For those that might have been wondering where I have been recently, I thought I would try to add a comment to address that (I am not sure this is the right place for such a thing and to be honest I am not sure I am in the best state of mind to care much at the moment). In the middle of last week I was notified I was being cut from my job and I have been dealing with that and in not much of a state of mind for working on ISFDB. I do hope to get back to such things but it might take me a while to get to such a place (however if I cannot find a replacement job soon it might mean I have more time here--we shall see). Thanks. It's probably the wrong place, but as I've been in a similar position for a year now you have my sympathies. BLongley 23:04, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Sorry to hear that! Good luck finding a job and don't worry about ISFDB -- it will be here when you have time for it! Ahasuerus 05:52, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

Polish Mummy

https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/view_submission.cgi?5446490; After working on Carl Dreadstone books recently and fixing/adding a bunch of stuff (I'm still waiting for Ramsey Campbell to reply to my tweet about the Bride of Frankenstein page count) I completely randomly came across this, https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/view_submission.cgi?5446490. I made a sad attempt at entering it but I'm not fluent in the language so after it's approved somebody who is may want to "enhance" it. Thanks in advance. --Username (talk) 16:02, 7 October 2022 (EDT)
