Squid Error Generated Fri, 19 Jan 2007 17:55:57 GMT
I had just approved a pub-update and on clicking Approve for a new-pub the site came back with the following that I'd interpret as a local failure of some sort. As it was save to hit refresh after I was done with this post I did so and ISFDB added the publication. Marc Kupper (talk) 12:07, 19 Jan 2007 (CST)

ISFDB weather report - short outage
There was a short outage on Friday April 25, 2008 starting at 7:49:35pm (Pacific Time)
- 7:49:35pm ISFDB fails to respond to ping
- 7:53:55pm The hop before ISFDB, 208.100.10.41 (chi08.thtdomains.com), fails to respond to ping
- 8:27:35pm The hop before ISFDB, 208.100.10.41 (chi08.thtdomains.com), starts responding to ping but is choppy with every other ping failing
- 8:31:55pm The hop before ISFDB, 208.100.10.41 (chi08.thtdomains.com), starts responding to ping consistently
- 8:34:35pm ISFDB starts responding to ping - ISFDB was down for 45 minutes.
It's not clear if the cause was a failure in the hosting service or something within the ISFDB server though the hosting service as a cause seems more likely as the hop before ISFDB failed for a while. Marc Kupper (talk) 06:11, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- This was a scheduled outage, although it looks likethey were about 10 minutes early. Alvonruff 12:45, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
