Not to be confused with another Tim White aka Timothy White (full name Timothy Thomas Anthony White), also born in 1952, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Billboard" and the author of a number of non-fiction books. On 6 April 2020, artist Bob Eggleton posted on his Facebook page, "British SF artist Tim White has passed away. 1952-2020(April 5th) He was an icon in the 1970s and early 80s with many bookcovers...he had health issues for a long time, so this was not related to COVID 19." Tim was an Aries (astrology sign) and as kind of an Easter egg thing, he usually put his astrology sign symbol (ram's horns) in his paintings. [Info via a Facebook post comment from Christopher T.
