Dorothy (Dora) Henrietta Havers was born the daughter of Thomas Havers, of Thelton Hall, Norfolk, in 1847. She married George Simonds Boulger, Professor of Natural History at the Royal Agricultural College, in 1879[1]. All of her literary works were published under the pseudonym "Theo. Gift". Since some of these were released before her marriage, and some after, some sources list "Theo Gift" as a pseudonym of Dora Havers, while other list it as a pseudonym of Dora Boulger. The ISFDB uses the author's final name, in this case, Boulger.
