I love good, heartfelt fantasy and science fiction. My favorite authors include E. Nesbit, Joan Aiken, Rumer Godden, Ray Bradbury, Bruce Coville, Chris Priestley, C.S. Lewis, Stephen King (guilty pleasure), and sometimes Neil Gaiman. My favorite books by each of these authors are: The Magic World; A Goose on your Grave; Home is the Sailor; The Illustrated Man; all of the Tales of Terror books; The Voyage of the Dawn Treader; The Green Mile; and Coraline.
