Welcome!

Hello, AJH, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhhutchins 02:03, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

Kaiju Rising: Age of Monsters

Re this publication: can you confirm that "Nick Sharps" is the editor as credited on the book's title page? The cover gives it as "Nickolas Sharps". The ISFDB uses the title page credit.

Also, I changed the cover art credit field to just Bob Eggleton. The cover art field is only for the cover artist and not the interior artist.

One last thing. Would you please take the time to enter the page numbers on which each of the stories start. Thanks for contributing. Thanks. Mhhutchins 02:02, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

Mythic Delirium webzine

There are a few problems with your submission to add a record for this publication.

  • First, webzines (with few exceptions) are not eligible for the database. But, since they produce an ebook version of it, we can allow it. So the format must be changed to "ebook".
  • If a periodical has an ISSN, it should not be entered into the ISBN/Catalog number field. You have the option to enter it in the Note field.
  • The number or date of the issue must be given in the title field to distinguish it from other issues of the same periodical. In this case, the title field would be entered as "Mythic Delirium, Issue 1.1" since there is no stated date. (This may change if you have a copy of the ebook edition and can determine if a date is given in the publication.)
  • The publication series data you gave will have to be removed. That is only used for book publications and not periodicals. For periodicals, we enter the editor record into a series which creates a magazine grid automatically.
  • The story by Sonya Taaffe was entered as by "Sonya Taffee".
  • The dates of the contents were given as either July, August or September 2014. If these works are original to this issue, then they should all have the same date and that date should correspond with the date of the publication. Only those which are reprinted would have a date different from the issue's date.

I will make these changes for you. Please take some time to read the help documentation at the links in the Welcome section above. Thanks for contributing. Mhhutchins 01:17, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Kaiju Rising: Age of Monsters

FYI, as per the other primary verifier, "Dead Man's Bones" has been changed to "Dead Men's Bones" in Kaiju Rising: Age of Monsters. Ahasuerus 16:50, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
