Welcome!

Hello, Grum, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

But are they speculative?

Thanks for becoming active. However, from the synopses posed at amazon it does seem that those three novels aren't speculative in content, and as such not eligible for ISFDB. I have put them on hold while waiting for an answer: you might want to emphasize their speculative content. Thank you, Stonecreek 15:39, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Thin Reflections and Stormwrack are (with Mike Moorcock's blessings) part of the Cornelius mythos. Charlie Cornelius is the daughter of Catherine Cornelius and her adventures in the multiverse are every bit as 'speculative' as those of her better known uncle.

Wealden Hill is also a fantasy. It is about a school teacher who is courted by a faery in the months before her people seal their hill due to the coming of the railways (iron cutting up the land). He does not realise that it is reality rather than madness until it is too late.

Thanks for the information: the name Cornelius should have put some connections inside my brain into fiery mode. I have added the binding 'tp' and the page count of 213 to 'Wealden Hill' (taken from amazon). There's no mentioning of the pub. series 'Stormlight' at that source, though. Maybe you intended to install a title series, like this one? And should the first two titles be made part of the Jerry Cornelius title series?
Also, be sure to sign your input here at the wiki with four tildes ('~') - that way it is automatically added who is writing.
Thank you again for these highly interesting items. Stonecreek 18:23, 4 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for adding the titles. Getting Amazon to add a series to a title is nigh impossible (as is trying to convince them that a paperback and ebook with the same title and cover are in fact the same book and should be listed together). Grum 10:54, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Yes, we not only record different editions, but we try to capture different printings as well! And I just wanted to emphasize that we also differ between publication series like DAW Collectors and title series like Darkover. Stonecreek 11:35, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Exile & Pilgrim

I have your submission on hold to remove the content title from Exile & Pilgrim. Could you please explain about your intention, because this is the title that is essential for the entry. Thanks, Stonecreek 14:39, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for getting back to me. This will be a temporary measure. It's just that I've sold the book to HarperCollins (this is currently confidential - the announcement will be made when all the details of the contract are agreed). As such, the book is now their property and no longer exists in this edition. Thanks, Grum 15:33, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your explanation. However, as I understand, the Monkey Business edition has been available for some time, wasn't it? We would add another publication for the new edition. Stonecreek 15:38, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
So I did reject your submission. We are waiting for the new edition to add it to the title. Thanks very much for leeting us know. Stonecreek 06:35, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
