Welcome!

Hello, Mungo9000, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Stonecreek 19:44, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

Three new titles by Lee McGeorge

Thanks for submitting! However, there remain some issues with your submissions that should be cleared before letting them pass through. First of all, please let us know what's the source for your data: you probably chose to tic no field for the source, which automatically leads to the last point where you provide the source of the data in the notes.

In this case the foremost question is: where are the ISBNs you state from? It is quite unusual for an ebook to have an ISBN, and I couldn't find any at amazon. I also couldn't find any trace for the publication of The Tourist. Please answer here, right on your talk page (and be sure to close your answer with four '~' as mentioned above. Thanks, Stonecreek 19:56, 30 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I am the author of these books.

Vampire "Untitled", Vampire "Unseen" and The Tourist are all released as eBooks with limited edition paperbacks used for book signings, promotions, etc. The ISBN is registered with Neilsen Book Data.

Vampire "Untitled" and Vampire "Unseen" are distributed through Amazon exclusively and are commercial products.

The Tourist is what I call "Advanced Fan Fiction". It's the novelisation of a classic unfilmed screenplay owned by Universal Pictures. UIP are supportive of the novelisation, the work has an ISBN and has been printed in paperback. It is freely available online but is "not for profit fan fiction" (It's very unusual for fan fiction to get an ISBN and paperback). The Tourist is currently 'not' available through Amazon but can be downloaded from iBooks, Kobo, Nook, Scribd, Smashwords etc. as well as a dedicated download page at http://www.thetouristnovel.com

Here are some download links for The Tourist:

Thank you very much! As we try to catalogue all different editions (even different printings), the paperback and/or trade paperback editions should be entered separately: it's here where the 'Clone Pub' function comes in handy. I have approved of your submissions. Please, take a second look at the ISBN of Vampire "Untitled". It is not in the valuable range and for that reason shown only as Catalog ID. If there was a typo, please change the field appropiately. I did change the 'FREE' to £0.00 for The Tourist.
I changed the dates for the publications and the corresponding titles to the Januarys of 2013 (Vampire "Untitled") and 2014 (Vampire "Unseen"), respectively, as these were the dates reported at amazon, and have put the Vampire novels into a series, hoping it was the right thing to do. The ISBN for Vampire "Untitled" is 9780954695316 All your changes are correct.

The Thing: Zero Day

Hello, I've approved your submission but made small changes=> price blanked (notes amended accordingly) and synopsis lightened of (self)promotional parts. Idem for _Vampire "Unleashed"_ where I trimmed the synopsis of the praising bits. Hauck 20:17, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Slenderman, Slenderman, Take this Child

Hello, I've approved your submission for this novel (result is here) but can you please precise its format/binding (the ISBN links to an ebook). Thanks. Hauck 15:59, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
