Hello, Michaeljdeluca, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Hauck 17:00, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

Christopher Brown

Hello, I've corrected the authorship of this essay as per your information (I've creating "another" Christopher Brown). If there are other mistakes, please indicate them below, I'll be able to correct them. Thanks for the information. Hauck 17:05, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I've been trying to figure out how best to do this: Chris Nakashima-Brown now writes as Christopher Brown, so I'd like to mark that page (Chris Nakashima-Brown) as a pseudonym of the new Christopher Brown page you just created, or else edit the field "Used These Alternate Names: Chris N. Brown" to include Chris Nakashima-Brown and then change the title of that page. I'm not sure how to go about this. Thank you for your help! Michaeljdeluca 17:39, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
I've now made "Christopher Brown (I)" a pseudonym of "Chris Nakashima-Brown". We tend to assign the canonical status to the most used name. in this case, it's still Chris Nakashima-Brown. Hauck 17:51, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

Christopher Brown Part 2

I have your edit to Christopher Brown on hold. Unless I'm missing something, the information you are adding is actually for the author Chris Nakashima-Brown and not the cover artist at the 'Christopher Brown' page. Is that correct?

I believe the shortfiction records currently on the 'Christopher Brown' page should be re-credited to Christopher Brown (I) (the author record that is a pseudonym of 'Chris Nakashima-Brown').

By the way, we cannot link to the image on christopherbrown.com. We can only use images from sites that have explicitly given us permission to do so. See ISFDB:Image linking permissions for a list of such sites. If you wish to contact the site to see about permission, the instructions to do so are below the list.

Let me know if I'm missing something. If not, I'll make the appropriate corrections.

Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 21:50, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

I have rejected the edit & updated the website on the correct author record. -- JLaTondre (talk) 23:19, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
