I'm a semi-retired chemical engineer living in the Chicago suburbs, a.k.a. Chicagoland. After working for three oil companies, I'm now a VP for a small company developing technology for converting biomass to ethanol. I've read science fiction and fantasy since the golden age of science fiction (12 or so),first pulps, then library books and paperbacks. I had little access to hardcover books or fanzines until the internet; since 2001 I've been replacing my old MMPBs with hardcovers wherever I can. I expect most of my initial contributions will be hardcover books for the couple of dozen authors I collect. | I'm a semi-retired chemical engineer living in the Chicago suburbs, a.k.a. Chicagoland.
